Sussex Baseball 2-3 in First Half of Florida

Day 1 Game 1: Sussex opened up against Niagara Community College. Trevor Risdon got the start for Sussex pitching 6 innings and only giving up 1 earned run on 7 hits. He also had 8 strikeouts. Sussex only scored one run on a pinch hit sac fly by Tyler Goff. Niagara Community College beat Sussex 2-1. 

Day 1 Game 2: Sussex Bats came alive in game 2 scoring 8 runs on 15 hits. However, Sussex defense had five errors on the day leading to 9 runs by Niagara. Sussex ended up losing on a walkoff flare to right field in the bottom of the 7th. Sussex had four hitter with multpile hits, Wataru Kazama (3-5, triple, 3rbi's), Aldo Vallorosi (3-4), Bobby Fehr (3-4, double), Mongeon Kim (2-4). 

Day 2 Game 1: Edgardo Matute picks up his second win with a complete game shut-out against CCRI. Offense was led by Wataru Kazama (4-4, 2 runs scored), Derek Sarapuchiello (2-3, triple) Matt Douma (1-3 2rbi's). Sussex wins 4-0.

Day 2 Game 2: Sean Kelemen started for Sussex going 5 innings with 5 hits and 0 earned runs. Sussex defense had 5 errors which led to 7 runs  by CCRI. Sussex loses 7-1.

Day 3 Game 1: Sussex wins 15-4 with 7 extra base hits. Derek Sarapuchiello (3-3, triple, 2 runs, 2 rbi's), Wataru Kazama (3-6, double, 1rbi), Mongeon Kim (2-4, double, triple 2 runs). Gustavo Souza picks up the win in relief going 2.2 innings with 5 strikeouts.
