24 hits lead Sussex to 18-10 Win

On Tuesday, April 2nd, Sussex Baseball recorded its highest hit total of the season in one game with 24 hits against Orange CC. Leading the way was Sophomore 3rd baseman Matt Douma (High Point), Douma went 5-7 with 3runs scored and a double. Tommy Moore (Warren Hills) also had an impressive day going 4-7 with 3runs, 2rbis, double and a home run. Scott Price (Newton HS) came in relief for 2 innings to pick up the win, while striking out 3 batters. Sussex defeated Orange CC by the score of 18-10.
