SCCC Baseball host Bucks CCC @ Centenary University (2020 Season Opener)

The Sussex Baseball Team will open up the 2020 season on Sunday, February 23rd, vs Bucks CCC for a doubleheader starting at noon, at Centenary University. The roster features 8 returners from last years' squad that went 19-21. They will be supported by 18 freshmen, that is compiled by some of the better talented players from the 2019 senior class in the old SCIL, with a good mix of out of state/international players. We look for the sophomores to be battle tested and help the incoming class to contribute right away, our outlook for this season is to reach the Region 19 playoffs and make some noise in the tournament. We will need to stay healthy and have our players step up each and every game to do so. We have the experience and players who have worked extremely hard for this upcoming season and continue to show the drive during practices, which we will need to make the playoffs.
