Bio

(2022) Served as the Defensive Coordinator, working with the Defensive Backs and serving as the Special Teams Coordinator at Sussex County Community College.  The Skylanders defensive posted impressive numbers through the season.  The Skylanders ended the season with 30 sacks and 14 total turnovers posting a 4-6 record, most in team history.    

(2021) Robertson served as the Safeties/ Special Teams Assistant under Head Coach Jimmy Robertson and Defensive Coordinator Anthony Van Curen for Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, NJ.  In 2021, the FDU-Florham football team posted a record of 7-4 and won the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) James Lynah Bowl for the first time in program history. The Devils earned wins over William Paterson, Misericordia, Widener, Lebanon Valley, Albright, Alvernia and Saint Vincent. The seven wins are the second most all-time in program history.

(2020) Served as the Defensive Backs & Wide Receiver coach for Hanover Park High School, NJ. 

(2019) Served as the Defensive Backs & Wide Receivers coach/ Special Teams Coordinator for Blair Academy, NJ. 

Robertson began his coaching career as a volunteer in 2009 at Vernon Township High School, NJ, serving as the Defensive Backs & Wide Receivers coach.  Robertson had not coached again until 2019 due to conflicting schedules.

Playing Career 

Robertson played Outside Linebacker/ Safety collegiately at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, MD.  2004-07.  

2007 Week 7 ACFC Defensive Player of the week following win vs Union (KY) 

2006 Week 6 ACFC Special Teams Player of the week following win vs Union (KY) 

A graduate in 2008 from Frostburg State University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. After graduation, Robertson enrolled in Nursing School at Sussex County Community College earning an Associate's degree in Nursing.  Recently graduating from Aspen University with Bachelor's degree in Nursing.   Robertson works as a Registered Nurse for St. Joseph's Health as a Nurse Manager for Surgical Services and part-time at The Valley Hospital Emergency Department. 

Robertson lives in Randolph, NJ with wife Lauren and Pitbull Sadie.
