Skylanders Fall To Union

The Skylanders were unable to overcome a 13 point second half deficit and fell to Union County College 94-86. After cutting Union's lead to just 4 points with less then three minutes remaining the Skylanders were unable to get shots to fall down the stretch.   It was another balanced effort offensively for the Skylanders with five players reaching double figures in scoring led by Shaekwon Grant-Wheeler with 22 points.  Nazir Britt added 17 points while Samir Wheeler chipped in with 16 points.  Michael Cooper and Frankie Rios each posted double doubles with Cooper scoring 12 points and pulling down 16 rebounds while Rios put up 13 points and dished out a season high 10 assists.

Next up the Skylanders travel to Brookdale to face the undefeated Jersey Blues who are currently the top ranked team in the country.
