In Sussex County's home opener, the Skylander's were in a tightly contested game with Harrisburg Area Community College. The game was tight with Harrisburg taking a 12 point lead at the half 45-33. The Skylanders buckled down on defense in the second half holding Harrisburg to 36 points in the second half but lost in the end by a deficit of 81-68. Key contributors to the game for Sussex were Sophomores Nazir Britt who finished with 18 pts, 10 reb, and 10 ast and Samir Wheeler who finished with 16pts 8 reb, and 5 ast. Also adding to the Skylander's offense was Freshman Reldi Durrsi who finished with 14pts and 11 reb. The Skylanders will be home again on Tuesday November 20th at 7pm vs Passaic County College.
