Mid Season Update

At The mid-way point of the season the Sussex Skylanders are currently 1-12. Although the record is not exactly what coach Stockton was expecting in his first year the team has had some very close games against some talented teams in the region. Earlier in the year Sussex lost at home to Passaic(7-8) by 4 points and also lost by 4 points to Camden(7-5). Sussex's lone win come from LehighCarbon on a 58-57 game. Sussex is not without talent as players have stepped up throughout the early season with sophomore Samir Wheeler currently averaging 17 points per game while grabbing 6 rebounds and 3ast. Nazir Britt, also a sophomore,  is currently averaging 15 points per game while grabbing 6 boards a game. Lastly a big addition to the team this year is freshman George Mendez who is currently averaging 13 points per game and 4 assists. The Sussex Skylanders are looking forward to coming back into the second semester and turning the season around.
