Sussex Men's Basketball Win Home Opener

The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball defeated Luzerne County Community College 76-65  on Tuesday in their home opener.  Sussex jumped out to a 38-36 halftime lead.  The Skylanders had a strong rebounding night and outscored Luzerne 38-29 for the second half to secure the win. PJ Ross scored 26 points and Jesus Romero added 19 points.  The Skylanders are now 3-1.  They will play Union on the road next Tuesday night.  The next home game will be November 30 against Brookdale Community College, the current number 1 team in the country for NJCAA Division 3 basketball.  Tipoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
