Sussex Men's Basketball Defeats Passaic 81-69

The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball team defeated Passaic County Community College 81-69 on Tuesday evening.  The Skylanders opened up with a 43-33 halftime lead.  The team played well together with five players finishing with 10 or more points.  David Forzani scored 20 points and PJ Ross added 19 points.  Nate Akiliu finished with 13 points for the evening and Jalil Golden chipped in with 12 points.  Christian Archer finished with 11 points.  Cornelius Reed and Jaheem Ray contributed key minutes helping with guard play.  Keenan Iseli and Ryan Gordon came off the bench to help the team stay ahead of Passaic throughout the night.

The Skylanders made 8 3 point shots on the night.  They also shot 17 of 21 from the free throw line.  The Skylanders improve to 5-4 overall and 5-3 in Region 19 play.
