Sussex Defeats Drew University Junior Varsity 101-82

Sussex County Community College Skylanders hosted the Drew University Junior Varsity Men's Basketball team on Tuesday evening.  The game was a high scoring contest with Sussex defeating Drew JV 101-82.  The Skylanders jumped out to a 45 - 29 lead at halftime.  Both teams shot well in a fast paced second half with Sussex outscoring Drew JV 56-53.

PJ Ross scored 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for Sussex.  Christian Archer had a strong inside game scoring 21 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.  Jalili Golden (14 points), David Forzani (12 points), Nathan Aklilu  (12 points), and Jesus Romero (10 points) all scored double digits in the game.  David Forzani also had a career high 12 assists for the game.  Keenan Iseli, Hamadi Martin, and Justin Blackman came off the bench to help secure the victory.  Sussex improves to 11-6 overall.  They continue this week with games on the road at Ocean County (Thursday) and Philadelphia Community College (Saturday).
