Maxwell Named Sussex Woman of the Year

Sophomore softball player Amanda Maxwell has been selected as the Sussex representative and SCCC's Woman of the Year for the National Association of Girls and Women in Sport  (NAGWS) Day.  Amanda will be recognized at Seton Hall University on February 3, 2019 at a luncheon and then treated to the women's basketball game between Seton Hall University and Butler University. She will be recognized at half time of this game down on the court along with the other New Jersey college and high school athletes.   Amanda was selected by the SCCC Athletic Department for her excellence in the classroom and ability on the field.

Head softball coach AJ Agnor is proud of Amanda and is excited for her to be recognized.  " Max is one of the most talented players in our program, but she is also a leader.  She great on the field, but she also puts in tremendous work off of it and is a great student as well.  We are lucky to have her as a part of our program and this honor is fully deserved."
