Rebecca Riley showed up to the SCCC home field on Sunday with a purpose. She pitched a strong 5 inning game while her defense backed her, only allowing 1 hit and 1 run. Amanda Maxwell went 3-4 at the plate with a warning track double. The entire Sussex team went 13-27 at the plate and continued to string hits together. Madison Stires had 2 RBI's. Adding to the RBI fest was Maxwell, Riley, Nicole Matlock, Amanda Ross, Heather Sutton, Brianne Willis and Kathryn Szatkiewicz. Szatkiewicz also had 2 stolen bases in the shutout.
The Lady Skylanders are back on the road this week on 4/16 at Bergen CC and 4/17 at Penn State Scranton.
