Sussex takes two from Monroe Express

On Friday 4/19, the Lady Skylanders added 2 more wins to their season. Game one took off with Amanda Maxwell clutching in 2 doubles to have her 2 for 3 with 1 walk on the morning. Nicole Matlock also added a double to the fence to bring in 2 RBI's. Heather Sutton added to the mix going 2 for 4 with 1 walk and Amanda Ross was key at the plate going 3 for 3 with 1 walk. Finishing the score 12 to 2, Rebecca Riley took game 1 for the win in the circle. Sutton, Ross, Maxwell and Matlock all collected 2 RBI's while Madison Stires, Riley and Kathryn Szatkiewicz all added 1 RBI during game 1. 

In game 2, Maxwell went 3-4 with 2 RBI's from a linedrive double. Szatkiewicz went 1-2 with 2 walks and an RBI. Ross, Stires, Gianna Santiago and Peyton Smith collected an RBI to help push the skylanders past Express. Brianne Willis and Rebecca Riley worked together in the circle for the second game win as Willis closed the game.
