For our program to level up, we need players like Leeman who can successfully demonstrate their determination, positive attitude, and optimism. It is evident in Leeman's character that she has the ability to play for something bigger than herself." In addition to the coaching staff's enthusiasm towards her commitment, Leeman also displays her eagerness in becoming a Lady Skylander. Leeman explains, "I am looking forward to working with the amazing coaches and players throughout the Sussex Softball family. I cannot wait to grow relationships with my teammates as well as begin my college career. Sussex is the first step towards accomplishing my future athletic and academic goals."
