Player Profile:

Were excited to be introducing Sussex County Community College’s latest wrestling recruit Calvin Brook. Calvin was a four-year wrestler for Kittatinny Regional High school graduating in 2018. He is currently undecided with his major, but is leaning towards liberal arts. Calvin also plans on being a two sport athlete at SCCC trying out for the football team as well as wrestling at the 165 or 174 weight class next fall. During his time at Kittatinny Calvin was a district champion as well as placing 2nd in the Region 1 tournament making him a state qualifier his senior year. In a conversation with coach Burdge Calvin mentioned how his time away from the sport has made him hungrier than ever to compete again.  Coach Burdge is quoted as saying “I think these two years off have made him appreciate the sport and I believe this fall he will come in more fired up than ever.” Pictured below is Calvin signing his letter of intent to SCCC.
