Player Profile:

SCCC is excited to introduce another recruit joining the program next fall Mario Castillo. Mario is currently a business major at the school. Mario wrestled at Delaware Valley High school in PA for two years. He currently trains Brazilian ju-jitsu and hopes to take what he is learning there and apply it to wrestling. Mario plans on wrestling 149 next year for SCCC and one of the moves he is most confident in is his pass bye. He is quoted saying “I’ve been training over a year doing Brazilian ju-jitsu. It teaches me to become a humble individual and the respect that it has shown to me is overwhelming”. Coach Burdge believes that Mario has the right attitude and looks forward to him competing for the team next year. Pictured below is Mario signing his letter of intent for SCCC.
