Bio

Player Profile:
Today I’d like to introduce you to one of the many recruits joining the team next fall. Noah Garriques was a four-year wrestler for Philipsburg High school. Noah started wrestling in eighth grade and consistently improved each and every year that he competed. Noah was very good at pinning his opponents and most of his victories came by way of fall. Noah is going to school at SCCC for welding and is currently attending part time. Noah plans to wrestle 157 for the Skylanders next year. We believe the sky is the limit for Noah and look forward to him competing for SCCC next year. Fun fact: Noah is also the nephew of Coach Burdges college wrestling coach John Garriques, who currently coaches at Centenary University. Coach Burdge is quoted as saying” It is Awesome to have coach’s nephew here with me at SCCC, Coach Garriques helped me excel at Centenary University and I hope to do the same for Noah”. Noah was asked to provide a quote for the program and provided us with “Scar tissue is stronger than regular tissue. Realize the strength, move on.” – Henry Rollins. Noah is pictured below signing his letter of intent.
