The wrestling program is excited to make the announcement that Jeremie Lerch will be joining the program next year. Jeremie was a four-year wrestler for Newton High school making varsity his senior year. Jeremie is going to SCCC for welding and is currently attending as a student. Jeremie plans to wrestle at the 165-pound weight class. During his time at Newton Jeremie was known for his lat throws. Coach Burdge is quoted as saying “I think that having a wrestling program at the college is a great opportunity for student athletes like Jeremie who currently attend the school to continue their wrestling career at the college level. I think Jeremie will make a valuable addition to our team and look forward to watching him compete next fall” Pictured below is Jeremie signing his letter of intent to SCCC.
