Bellerby Commits to Sussex

The Sussex women's soccer program is excited to announce its first recruit commitment of the 2018 graduating class.  Chloe Bellerby from Harrogate, England has officially penned her Letter of Intent to play at Sussex next Fall.  Chloe is a composed, talented centre back who currently plays for her hometown club, Harrogate Town Ladies, and has had previous trials at prestigious clubs Leeds United and York City.  Chloe has been recognized as the Sports Person of the Year for 3 years running, she has been rewarded for her Outstanding Contribution to school life and won the Players' Player of the Year for 4 consecutive years.

Before Chloe makes the trip over to the States next July, she is aiming to raise over $10,000 for Mind (https://www.mind.org.uk/about-us/what-we-do/), which is a charity that provides advice and support for anyone who is experiencing mental health issues.  Chloe is planning to earn an Associate's Degree at Sussex, before transferring to a 4 year college to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Secondary Education.  Chloe said in an official statement, "I can't wait to start my new adventure with Sussex, I'm excited to work hard and play to the best of my abilities to repay the faith shown in me by the Sussex family!"
