Thiel Commits to Sussex

Regan Thiel from Newton, NJ has committed to the Sussex women's soccer program for the 2018 season.  Thiel was a standout player for Newton High School, helping them top their conference this past fall and earn a 17-6-1 overall record.  Regan contributed with 9 assists and 2 goals scored during the season as a central midfield player.  Sussex head coach Frank Vernacchio is excited to start working with Thiel, stating, "We are delighted to have Regan join our soccer family for this upcoming season.  She has great vision and likes to play in the style that we wish to play, and can add a lot to our team off the field as well.  We are really looking forward to working with her for the next two years."
