Calandreau Joins Sussex

Romane Calandreau from Wallkill Valley Regional High School has committed to the Sussex women's soccer program for the 2018 season. Calandreau, who also ran track and field, specialized in defense either as an outside back or centrally.  Wallkill Valley head coach Allison Wacker was full of praise for her former player. "Romane is a great player to have on your team.  She is always looking to push herself to her limit and to continue her growth as both a player and a person.  Sussex will be very happy with Romane on their roster."

Sussex head coach Frank Vernacchio also had praise for the defender, stating, "We are really excited to have Romane join our family for this upcoming season.  She has the right mentality to help push us to that next level, and I see her really growing as a player here at Sussex.  We cannot wait to start working with Romane."
