Correa Signs for Sussex

Juciara Correa, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, has committed to the Sussex women's soccer team for the 2019 season after signing her NJCAA Letter of Intent.  Correa, who plays as a natural winger, will add to a talented recruiting class for Sussex.  Head coach Frank Vernacchio is extremely excited to start working with the new recruit when she arrives in July.  "Ju is a fantastic player and one that we are very excited to have here at Sussex.  Her playing style and technical capabilities will add to our program tremendously, and she has the type of character that we are looking for here as well.  We feel that we have got a great player with Ju."

Sussex finished their season last weekend with a defeat in the NJCAA Northeast District Tournament and will look to open the 2019 season in late August.
