Jowett Signs for Sussex

The Sussex women's soccer program is happy to announce that Milla Jowett of Victoria, Australia has committed to Sussex by signing her NJCAA Letter of Intent.  Milla plays primarily as a centerback and outside back, but is versatile enough to play several positions and in many different systems of play.  Head coach Frank Vernacchio is delighted to have Jowett join, and points to her versatility as one of the reasons why the Sussex coaching staff recruited her.  "We are really happy that Milla has signed with us.  She is incredibly athletic and can play in a couple of positions for us.  She is the calibre of player that we are looking for to take us to the next level because she possesses the leadership qualities that we look for, and has the right character to complement her athletic talent.  We feel that she will really fit in well, here, and will enjoy playing with the group that we have for this upcoming season."
