Gasparini Signs For Sussex

The Sussex women's soccer program is proud to announce Carina Gasparini as their latest signing.  Carina signed her NJCAA Letter of Intent to join the women's soccer team for this upcoming fall.  Gasparini, from Rankweil, Austria, is comfortable playing as an attacker either centrally or out wide.  Carina is joining a talented freshman class for Sussex with the Skylanders planning on building on their recent success the past few seasons with the goal to win the NJCAA Region XIX Title this year.

Head coach Frank Vernacchio is excited with what Gasparini will bring to the women's soccer program.  "Carina is a great addition to our team.  She is quick, technical, and has been playing at a very high level.  What stood out to us immediately was her fantastic work rate and desire to never be second best.  She has the character that we are looking for and will help take our team to the next level."

Sussex kicks off its season on August 31, 2019 with their first game at home against Monroe College (Rochester, NY).
