McClurg Commites to Sussex

The Sussex women's soccer program is excited to add another solid player to its 2020 recruiting class. Asha McClurg of Geographe, Western Australia, has signed her letter of intent and will be joining the women's soccer program this fall. Coach Vernacchio is excited about the new recruit saying, "Asha isn't just a great player, she is a great person as well. I believe she will do much more than just impact this team on the field. Since we are graduating a few defensive players, it was important to bring in someone who can compete and contribute straight away. I am very confident Asha will be able to do that. We are grateful that she is joining our program and excited to work with her during her time here at Sussex."
