Sussex Women Ranked 5th in the Nation

The Sussex Women's Soccer program makes school's history by being the first ever nationally ranked women's program at Sussex County Community College. The program has been coming close over the years, but has finally jumped into the polls at number 5. Coach Vernacchio said, "There has been a lot of work that has gone into this program over the years. I can honestly say each year the program has pushed the bar of where it should be and now getting nationally recognized is only the beginning. For every single player who has come through our program, we want to truly thank. Each year, each team has left the program in a better place and we need to continue this process. I am excited for this year's team to build on that and for us to reach out goal of winning a national championship." 

The Sussex women's soccer program will look to open it season at home this Saturday April 10th. Kick off will be at 11a.m.
