The Sussex women's soccer program came away with a big win against Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester on Saturday. Jessenia Velez scored for Sussex early on which is all that was needed for the win. Coach Vernacchio said "We have a tough team and watching them battle and then to see it all the way through was important for our growth. In the second half, especially, the team really stepped up. They continued to create opportunities and did all the little things that helped us come out with the win."
The Sussex women will play against Nassau County Community College on April 29th at home. Kick off will begin at 4:00 PM.
