The Sussex Women's Soccer team handed #16 nationally ranked Howard Community College their second loss of the season in a 4-2 victory on Saturday, October 9. Sussex (6-2) started off strong with 2 first half goals from Blaise Vallorosi (7 for the season) and Sophie Taylor (13 for the season). Carina Gasparini led the attack for Sussex by assisting all four of Sussex's goals in the game, the last 2 of which were served up to Taylor to complete her hat trick on the day. Sussex finished the game with 25 shots, 18 of which were on target, to Howard's 12 shots, 3 of which were on target. Up next for Sussex is a home game against Rowan College South Jersey - Gloucester on Saturday, October 16, which will also be the Sussex Mental Health Awareness Game.
