Breakfast of Champions

Breakfast of Champions

This morning marked yet another great year for our athletes academically. Celebrating over 30 student athletes, the Breakfast of Champions has been a great way to recognize our student-athletes and all those who have mentored them along the way. In order to attend the breakfast, student-athletes must maintain a 3.25 cumulative GPA or higher. Bailey Caller (men's soccer) and Elisa Campos (women's soccer) read the names of each student-athlete along with the faculty or staff member that has had a great influence on their life. The event is a special way to recognize not only the student-athletes and their success, but also those who have made an impact in these student-athletes' lives.

Along with this event, each year the "Star Award" is given to a faculty or staff member who has gone above and beyond to support the athletic department and all of our student athletes here on campus. John Kuntz (Athletic Director) and the entire athletic department are proud to announce Lydia Clark as this years' recipient. Congratulations Lydia you deserve it!

A lot of work goes into this event and even though it certainly "takes a village," a very special thank you goes out to Traci Smith for all she has done to make this event very special for everyone!
