Sussex Baseball Played Four This Past Weekend
SCCC Baseball played at Middlesex CC on Saturday afternoon, then played Bloomfield College (4yr D2 program) at Skylands Stadium on Sunday. As we progress forward into our fall session, the bats came alive once again this weekend tallying up 41 hits in 113 at bats and scoring 30 runs in four games. Pitching staff was led by good outings by returner Edgardo Matute and freshman Drew Burke, also contributing in relief with solid outings was Anthony Melillo, Derek Sarapuchiello, Adam Thompson, Danny Titus, and Sabastian Gonzales. We will continue our tough fall schedule this weekend with 4 games vs Camden CC(Saturday) and Sullivan CC(Sunday). Special thanks goes out to the impressive amounts of fans who attended our game this past Sunday at our home field, Skylands Stadium.
