Bio

Jamie Lee Borger, formerly Jamie Lee Smith,  joined the Sussex coaching staff in October, 2017 as assistant coach under AJ Agnor. Coach Borger previously held the head varsity coach spot at East Stroudsburg High School North in Pennsylvania. She earned her bachelors degree in Public Health at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania while playing Division II Softball for the Warriors.  As a collegiate second baseman, Borger held a 269% batting average with a 366% on base percentage and a 946% fielding average over the span of her 4 years as a warrior. She was a part of the NCAA student athlete advisory committee. She was a PAC-10 champion as a senior in her native hometown of Boyertown, PA.  

Her softball coaching history is spanned across PA and NJ as she has coached Travel, Recreational and High School Softball. She also holds group and individual trainings along with sporadically working as a recruiting specialist for Softball Factory. This past year she was also the head field hockey coach at Lenape Valley Regional High School. She received her Masters degree in Sports Management from California University of Pennsylvania and is now working through Liberty University's Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership. Coach Borger also is the Coordinator of Women's Athletics, the Student Success Coach in the Advising and Counseling Center and teaches a few Foundations for Success courses at SCCC. 

Coach Borger lives in Newton, NJ with her husband Dylon and their dog Bobby Ray.
