Sussex Soccer Teams Celebrated For Bringing Home Region XIX Champ Titles

Amy Rude, Assistant Director of Student Engagment, and the Campus Life Office, hosted an event in the cafeteria this morning recognizing the historic achievement of both the women's and men's soccer teams for each bringing home the Region XIX Championship Title. Director of Athletics, John Kuntz, offered a congratulatory message then brought up Head Coach (of both teams), Frank Vernacchio, who introduced each player by name. The celebration continued afterwards with cake, ice cream, and a visit from Skylor, the Skylanders mascot!
