Below are the forms that must be printed and completed as well as resources to help create your ATS and NJCAA accounts.  Feel free to contact the Athletic Department with any questions:

Frequently Asked Questions Regarding Eligibility:

I have a completed physical from high school or my previous team.  Would that be accepted?

  • Yes as long as it has not been 13 months since the physical exam.  All medical physicals that clear students for athletic participation are valid for 13 months.  If a medical clearance expires during a player's season, they must schedule and complete another physical exam to compete in athletics.

I have a copy of my high school transcript, but it is from my last semester before I graduated.  Will that be accepted?

  • No.  A student's high school transcript must state the date of graduation and must be signed by a school official.

I am an international student.  What are the requirements of my high school documents?

  • Being an international student requires a few more documents to be eligible to compete in collegiate athletics.  You are required to submit your high school transcripts/final report stating you date of graduation as well as have your transcripts evaluated by a NACES accredited third party organization to determine their equivalency of a US High School Diploma.  Some popular companies that are used to evaluate are InCred, WES, and ECE.  If you are from a country where English is not the primary language, then your transcripts must be translated as well in addition to your original copies.  If you have any questions regarding this process, contact the Athletic Department or Mike Rath at mrath@sussex.edu.

I am a transfer student.  Can I submit my previous college transcripts by printing them from my portal/account?

  • No.  The athletic department must have a copy of your official transcript.  If you have sent a copy to the Registrar, then we can receive a copy from them.  You will not be allowed to participate in games until the Athletic Department has a copy of your official transcript.
