Bellerby Honored at NAGWS Day

Sussex County Community College student athlete Chloe Bellerby was honored as SCCC's Woman of the Year at the National Association of Girls and Women in Sport Day held at Seton Hall University on February 9.  This large annual event hosted over 900 people in recognition of each recipient of this award from every high school, college, and university in New Jersey.  Chloe was an integral part of the Sussex women's soccer program and helped them win the NJCAA Region XIX Title as well as advance to the semi finals of the NJCAA Northeast District Tournament.  Chloe is also an advocate for mental health awareness where she presents to secondary schools and has also appeared multiple times on the BBC network to aid in the cause to help those battling with mental health. 

The National Association for Girls and Women in Sport was founded over 30 years ago and strives to be one of the premiere organizations dedicated to advocacy, education and the promotion of girls and women in sport.
