Sussex fell short in Game 1, losing 3-1. Trevor Risdon pitched really well, only giving up 1 earned run, in a complete game performance while striking out seven batters. Sussex only had 3 hits all game, with Nicolas Dore having two of them going 2-3 with a RBI.
In Game 2, Sussex won 8-3. Edgardo Matute started the game on the mound and got the win, going 4 tough innings and giving up 2 earned runs. Gustavo Souza came in for the 3 inning save to secure the win, while striking out 5 batters and not allowing a single base runner.
