Saturday May 5th Game 1: Sussex wins Edgardo Matute started the first playoff game for Sussex, he pitched 3 innings giving up 3 earned runs. Cole Vanluvender got the win for Sussex after coming in relief, pitching 5 scoreless innings while only giving up 1 hit. Tyler Goff (1-4, 2 runs scored) started the rally in the 9th inning with a leadoff double. Mongeon Kim (2-4, homerun, 2 runs scored), Johnny Franco (2-3, 1 rbi), Nick Grifone (1-4, homerun, 2 rbi's).
May 5th Game 2: Sussex loses 8-2. Nathan King started on the mound for Sussex pitching 2 innings giving up 5 earned runs on 7 hits. Nicolas Dore (3-4, 1 rbi), Anthony Carida (3-4), Nick Grifone (2-3, 1 run), Johnny Franco (2-4, 1 rbi).
Sunday May 6th: Trevor Risdon went 8 and 1/3 innings in the last game of the series to get the win over Delaware Tech, final score was 9-8. Cole Vanluvender came into a bases loaded situation with 1 out in the bottom of the ninth, and got a ground ball double play to end the game. Wataru Kazama (3-4, 2 runs scored, 2 rbi's, homerun), Matt Douma (2-5, 2 runs scored, 2 rbi's), Mongeon Kim (2-5, double, 1 run scored), Dalton DelRosso (1-4, 2 rbi's).
