Sussex Walks Off and Raises Funds

Our 5th Annual Military Appreciation game, Tuesday April 24th, was a great night for all that were involved and attended. The night consisted of two teams playing but in reality the night belong to all military personnel, future,present, and past. Yes we won on a walk off hit in the bottom of the 9th and in a game we were down early but these games on this night, for the past 5 years, is for the Student Veteran Emergency Relief Fund (SVER) here at the college. Each year we put on a show at Skylands Stadium on the field and in the stands (Thanks to our awesome Athletic Director John Kuntz and our student embassador Bailey Caller rockin the mic all game) so we can raise funds for SVER and we did, also huge thanks to Orange CCC baseball team for donating their meal money to the cause.
