Orange County Community College
The Sussex County Community College baseball team defeated SUNY-Orange by a score of 4-2 Tuesday night at their annual Military Appreciation Game. Sussex were led by Lorenzo Curbelo with 2 RBI's from 2 hits (double and a triple). Jake Wagner, Logan Kobis, Terryn Babcock, and Mike D'Aconti all scored runs for the Skylanders. Tanner Rossi earned the win for Sussex from the mound pitching 6 innings and allowing one earned run, while striking out 5. Jaxon Forbes then picked up the save striking out the last two batters for Orange to end the game.
Over $950 were donated to the Student Veteran Relief Fund last night, and special thanks to SUNY-Orange for donating their meal money to help our veterans in need.
Next up for Sussex (25-7) is a pivotal Region XIX series against Delaware Tech (27-15) on Thursday, April 27.
