Sussex Ends Implausible Season v #3 Genesse in NJCAA Tournament

As the Genesse starters trotted back onto the field in the fourth quarter, the Sussex Lacrosse program continued to fight--just as they had done throughout an eight game schedule, with one home game, and a roster of 12 men.

The Region XIX champion played through the last whistle, and walked off the turf knowing how bright the future of the program has now become.

The Skylanders will return 9 players in 2022, including Region XIX Player of the Year Dom Falleni and 4 of 5 All Region members, and with commitments from around NJ, PA, and MA that will give the first-year NJCAA program much needed depth in a sport that demands it.

Sophomores Griffen Rhodes, Brian Curley, and Region XIX midfielder Matt Sciancalepore will leave the program in great shape, and will be remembered as members of the "Dirty Dozen" who helped build a culture that will carry on through seasons to come.
