Sussex Battles to a 10-7 Loss

On a beautiful day in Media, Pennsylvania the fourth quarter turned ugly for the Sussex 'Landers lacrosse team.  Tied at 6 after three quarters untimely penalties allowed Williamson to score 3 of the games final 4 tallies and deposit the Skylanders in the loss column for the afternoon.

"We made mistakes, but I thought we generated some nice looks offensively." said head coach Steve Manitta. "When we have opportunities, we need to finish. Liam, (MacClugage) and our defense deserves better."

Goalie Liam MacClugage finished with 14 saves continuing his impressive start in goal for the Skylanders.

Luke Wilson led all scorers with 4 goals on 5 shots, while Midfielder Cody Cooper finished with 2 goals and 1 assist. Alex Husenjnovic added 2 assists along with a goal. 

Sussex hits the road for the final time this season against Hudson Valley Sunday April 2nd at 1:00 PM.
