The Sussex Men's Soccer team got back on track with a big time win this past weekend against Cumberland County Community College, outscoring them 9-0. Coach Vernacchio said " I am proud of how the boys responded in our training session yesterday which I believe had a great impact on our game today. We were much more focused, intense, and courageous as a team which needs to continue as we get prepared for nationally ranked Camden on Tesday. I am confident in this group and excited to continue watching them grow as a better team and a stronger family." Sheikh Alum led the Skylanders with scoring with 2 goals, with Connor Heal leading the team with assists, providing two. Goals were scored by Ekin Arisoy, Joey Lynch, Deon Waldmeier, Will Frye, Bruno Rocha, Tom Watts, and Nik Polizos. Sussex takes on Camden who is Nationally ranked at number 4 this coming Tuesday, September 18.
