Davis and Freitas Commit to Sussex

Alex Davis, of England, and Iago Freitas, of Brazil, both signed their letter of intent and will be joining the Sussex Men's Soccer program. Head Men's Soccer coach, Frank Vernacchio, is excited about the two new additions saying, "We are certainly blessed to have connections with people from all around the world. Our diversity as a team has been a great part of our strength. Alex and Iago will add a great deal to our program and we are fortunate to have them joining our family, "the 2019 recruiting class has certainly been great so far for the Skylanders and Coach Vernacchio added, "we have had a good off-season so far. I am certainly glad to see that we are not only bringing aboard talented players, but players who will add a great deal to the culture of this program. It is essential to bring in a quality class each year. At the Junior College level, players need to be able to come in and contribute right away and also be the foundation for the following year. Our returners this year have certainly set a great foundation and seeing the 2019 class start to take shape is exciting for this year and the future of our program."
