Yannick- Ferdinand Ossinonde commits to Sussex

The Sussex Men's soccer program is excited with its latest commit, Yannick-Ferdinand Ossinonde. Yannick is an athletic, defensive player who plays at a high level in Germany. Coach Vernacchio is thrilled to have Yannick joining the program. Vernacchio says " I have enjoyed my conversations with Yannick and how he carrries himself as a young man. I know our program is not just getting a quality player but a quality person. Yannick will add a tremendous level of not just athletic ability but also knowledge and strength to a well rounded defense. I can't wait to help Yannick continue to grow as he strives to reach his goals and dreams." Yannick is also looking forward to this new opportunity. Yannick stated " I am looking forward to working hard athletically and academically at Sussex. I believe their is a great opportunity to achieve both and I am looking to take advantage of that!" 

Sussex will look to once again take their season to the next level and hoping to advance out of the Region and into the Naitional Tournament. Yannick was later asked what he would like to achieve during his time at Sussex and he replied " Academically I want to use what I learn from Sussex and apply it to my life. I will also be proud that this knowledge came from Sussex. As a player I am honored to be playing for Sussex and with that believe we should always be aiming for the highest success, a National Championship. This of course will take a lot of work but that is what I am most looking forward to.
