Parise Commits to Sussex Softball

Sussex Softball is excited to announce the signing of Lenape Valley's Julia Parise. 

Parise is currently LVR's starting varsity Catcher, Captain, and High Honor Roll student. She states, "I chose Sussex because of the environment I felt when I came to campus, people I know with staff and coaches that truly care about your individual success and careers. It is close to home. I can surround myself with family, who are my support system, which played a huge role in my choice of where to further my education." 

"My future plans after Sussex is to move South and start a small business, either something in clothing or sporting clothing. Eventually, becoming a coach for softball. Teaching the next generation of players to help them live out their dreams as well, since I know that I would not be given this opportunity without the coaching staff I had growing up." She states that she is looking forward to growing as a collegiate softball player. 

Coach Borger states, "We are excited to have Julia join us. Her leadership on the field is exactly the energy we look for at the DII level. She has an incredible softball IQ, and her dugout leadership is just as impressive. She has a great opportunity to make a big name here at SCCC with her dedication to improving her athleticism and academics."
