M. Jennings Signs with Sussex Softball

Sussex Softball would like to officially welcome High Point's Megan Jennings to the 24-25 roster. Jennings is a Pitcher and force on the corners. She plans to come to Sussex for her Criminal Justice degree and transfer to a 4 year after she graduates.  Jennings states, "I chose Sussex because it is close to home, so I can still be close to my family, friends, and work. I also have a lot of friends that go here, and it seems like a great environment to be in.

"I am looking forward to playing with old teammates again and playing with girls who used to be on my high school's rival teams. I'm also looking forward to making new friends and improving daily."

Head Coach Jamie Borger mentions, "Megan's dedication to bettering herself and her teammates will make her a force on the dirt for us. We expect big things from her on the corners and in the circle. She's strong, motivated, and hungry for more. She can really make an impact here for the program and herself. I'm excited to see her grow into a successful collegiate student-athlete."
