The SCCC Womens Basketball Team made a statement on Thursday, taking down #1 seeded CC Philadelphia, who was formerly undefeated in Region XIX play.
Sussex won 53 to 43 over the Lions. Alyssa Aragona led in scoring on the night with 18 points. SCCC's Madison Mailloux added 11, Lana Varcadipane 9, and Sydney Tantleff 8 in the big victory.
The women return to play at home Tuesday vs Brookdale CC with a 5 p.m. game start.
