Sussex at Nationals

Freshman Spencer Stewart makes history and collects SCCC's first win at a national tournament. He would then go on to lose to an eventual All-American in the next round. During his wrestle back Spencer dropped a heart breaker in the third period tied 2-2 with riding time. Spencer got thrown to his back while attempting to escape and was unable to fight off it. Spencer had a great run becoming Sussex's first district champ and collecting the first win in program history at nationals. He also managed to place at some high level tournaments this year. Fourth at the East Stroudsburg and third at the Bob Quade. Spencer has a bright future and we look forward to seeing him compete next year.
