Herold Commits to Sussex

Paula Herold of Hiddenhausen, Germany has committed to the Sussex women's soccer program for the 2020 season after signing her National Letter of Intent.  Herlold is a versatile player who can deputize in central midfield as well as play on the wing. Head coach Frank Vernacchio is very excited to have Paula join Sussex and spoke very highly of her.  "Paula is a fantastic player.  We are really excited to start working with her next season and know that she can bring a lot to our program.  She's comfortable in possession and her playing style will match well with the returning players that we have coming back.  On top of that, she has the right personality and attitude that we look for in players here at Sussex."

Sussex will start their preseason training on August 1st and look to build on an impressive 2019 season where they finished as NJCAA Region XIX Champions with 14-2 record.
