Castro Commit's to MNU

Giovanna Castro has committed to MidAmerica Nazerene University. Castro, who had a great two years for Sussex, really went to another level in her last season for the Skylanders. Giovanna was named GSAC Player of the Year while also accomplishing 1st Team All Region and 1st Team All Conference. Coach Vernacchio said "Giovanna is a special player and I certainly feel blessed to have been able to coach her these past two seasons. She really helped grow the quality of our program and set a standard for years to come. Even though we will miss her, we are excited to see her move onto the next level. She is certainly going to have a major impact at MNU and we are looking forward to following her progress!"
