English Commits to Sussex

The Sussex Soccer Program welcomes Leah English to the Fall 2025 Women's Soccer Team.  English was a standout forward for High Point Regional High School and captain for her senior season, scoring 15 goals and providing 5 assists.  Her career tally for goals was 38, while providing 11 assists earning her 87 points in her high school career.  Head Coach Mike Rath is excited with the signing, saying, "Leah is a huge addition to our team for this fall.  She can play either centrally or out wide in attack, and brings a dynamic threat to our opposition.  Her competitive character and mindset will be really important for us as we look to return to winning Region 19 and competing at the national level. We are absolutely delighted to have her commit for this upcoming season!"

English joins Kelsey Birchenough, Brooke Nelson, and Martina Lacatena for this year's recruiting class.
